This independent movie production company was founded for the sole purpose
of giving to the industry stories of worth, substance, and value, something that is
fast disappearing from the movie scene, keeping in view the commercial aspects of
the product. 

Samadhi came into being in 2003 in NYC. "Cobra's Wish" and "Vaikoont" (the former a fairy tale and an historical saga the latter.) were both produced with a limited budget. We look to the future with optimism and hope and shall endeavor to uphold
the principles this entity stands for. 

Times may get tough or tougher but we shall stand firm with resolve and optimism.

After making "Cobra’s Wish"  and "Vaikoont," we got caught up in the quagmire of festivals that are in abundance. Result: disappointments. It is no aspersion on the quality of our products, but rather a lack of experience on our part and too many movies to be screened in the festivals. Despite their best intentions to be fair they could not do justice for lack of man-power or woman-power and of course time constraints. We tried several festivals at a high cost. 

  This experience led us to investigate various channels of self-distribution: Netflix, Theaters etc. Time is always at a premium and hence we could no longer be at the mercy of some who would rather pick a 35 mm movie with a million dollar budget starring big names. In 2007 we founded ‘U.S. Distribute Indies’ owned by U.S. Consortium, a US Corporation.
 

   We have new plans this year to promote our two movies.
There are various channels like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and
Youtube we intend to use to publicize our products.
We do realize it is a lengthy process but We are confident we
shall eventually succeed.
 

   We are interested in showing these in theaters.
